What are your opening hours?
Our workshops are open between 8.00am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Can I bring my vehicle in on a Saturday?
Our workshops aren’t open for retail work on Saturdays, although we may be able to help with a minor repair. You are welcome to drop your vehicle in on a Saturday, but we won’t be able to give you any technical help until the following Monday.

How far ahead do I have to book?
Our workshops tend to schedule work around 5 working days ahead, whilst the bodyshop will need approximately 1-2 weeks notice to book in repair work. However, we are very aware that you don’t get any notice of breakdowns, so will always do our best to squeeze in emergency problems.

What makes of vehicle can Kenhire handle?
We have the tools and equipment to handle all major vehicle marques and our workshop staff includes a BMW specialist.

Will my warranty be affected if Kenhire service my car?
No. We only use OE quality service parts, so your manufacturer’s warranty won’t be invalidated.

Can you collect my vehicle?
Providing it is driveable, we can collect your car from your home or workplace and return it as soon as it is ready. This service is free of charge for vehicles within a 5 mile radius of our workshops.

Can you recover my vehicle?
If your vehicle is not running or has been involved in an accident, we can arrange for a recovery truck to attend, although this will be chargeable. The charge will depend on the location of your vehicle and the extent of any damage. For crash repairs these costs may be recoverable from your insurers.

Can you provide an estimate for my insurance company?
Yes. We can give you a written estimate for damage repairs, or alternatively, if you provide us with your insurer’s details, we can deal with them direct.

Can I get a courtesy car?
We don’t provide courtesy cars, but any vehicle hired while your own vehicle is in our workshop or bodyshop is discounted by 20%.

Can you do an MOT while I wait?
Yes, but by apppointment only.
